You’ll learn every step of the process, from the basics to crafting your own finished macramé lantern.

By the end of the day, you’ll go home not only with your own handmade light sculpture, but with something even more valuable: knowledge — the kind many are searching for.

The Power of Creation

It truly feels like a miracle every time.
Participants join us from all over the world to learn this macramé technique, which blends tradition, artistry, and intention.

It’s a universal language — not made of words, but of cords intertwining, telling a story through form, structure, and light.

Come join us, and add your own story to this growing, inspiring macramé community.

About the Artist

Szilvi is a Hungarian artisan whose macramé creations echo the textures of memory and nature. Raised in a home where craftsmanship was a way of life—her father a master woodworker, her mother endlessly weaving beauty through crochet, knitting, and paint—Szilvi’s hands learned to speak the language of thread and form from an early age.

She began her creative journey in Budapest in 2017, drawn to the city’s pulse and artistic energy. Yet it was the quiet rhythm of the countryside near Edelény, in Borsod County, that ultimately called her home. There, surrounded by forests and the echoes of her childhood, Szilvi deepened her practice and gave shape to a style that is both rustic and refined.

Her work ranges from handcrafted swings and lanterns to ethereal tents and bespoke décor—each piece a tactile poem, woven with intention and soul.
