About Volta ao Algarve
Basking beneath the radiant skies of southern Portugal, the Volta ao Algarve has become a cornerstone of the early cycling season, attracting elite riders from around the globe. As the sole Portuguese entry on the UCI ProSeries calendar, it showcases the Algarve’s diverse landscapes through a picturesque and challenging route.
Each edition follows a familiar rhythm: a solo time trial, grueling climbs through the Serra de Monchique and Serra do Caldeirão, and fast-paced flat stages tailored for sprint specialists.

Our itinerary
Our curated tour features a variety of fully guided rides tailored to every skill level, winding through the breathtaking scenery of Portugal’s Algarve region.
It’s an ideal fusion of exhilarating rides, front-row race excitement, and indulgent downtime—a long-standing favorite among our most refined cycling enthusiasts.
Daily stages
Between 40 and 130 km (3 different options per day). Each ride is expertly tailored to balance challenge and enjoyment amid the region’s stunning, undulating landscapes.
